NYTHARQ was born not in a corporate boardroom, but in the cramped dorm room of a frustrated engineering student. Our founder, Awen Chen, was tired of the compromise. To code, he needed the raw power of a bulky, noisy desktop. To attend lectures and collaborate, he needed the portability of a underpowered laptop. The "mini PC" solutions available were either weak, unreliable, or aesthetically sterile.

He saw a gaping hole in the market: where was the device that offered uncompromised performance in a form factor that empowered mobility and elegance?  he and a small team of like-minded engineers and designers pooled their resources. Their first prototype, built on a hand-soldered board and housed in a custom-milled aluminum chassis, was the genesis of NYTHARQ. It was the proof that power and portability were not mutually exclusive. We started with a simple belief: technology should adapt to your life, not the other way around.
